Outreach and Education, Technical Assistance, and Financial Education for FSA Programs, Functions, and Activities

USDA's Farm Service Agency is now accepting applications to fund outreach and education, technical assistance, and financial education efforts for the Agency's Programs, Functions, and Activities. This funding opportunity is meant to support and expand the Agency's current outreach and education efforts, particularly to farmers historically underserved by the USDA. Emphasis will be given to proposals focusing on farmers who are of color, women, new and beginning, veteran, urban, or who grow non-commodity crops. Approximately $2.5 million is available, and grants ranging from $20,000 - $99,999 thousand are available. 

Program Eligibility
Applicants must be either 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations or institutions of higher education. FSA must be substantially involved throughout the project. Applications must be submitted by July 11, 2016.
