New Entry's Beginning Farmer & Rancher Development Grant Program (BFRDP) Webinar series continues with our next topic:
EVALUATION
The purpose of this Evaluation webinar is to help organizations create a useful evaluation plan. We'll cover:
- The purpose of evaluation
- Steps involved in framing an evaluation
- Ideas for identifying outcomes and indicators
- Basic steps regarding collecting, analyzing and reporting information
A goal of the webinar is to provide information to develop a useful plan for both your organization's own use, as well as for a BFRDP proposal. Participants will gain an understanding of the basic steps, and will have a list of resources to use in developing future plans.
This webinar is ideal for those who don't have much experience or training in evaluation, or those who want to learn more about creating an evaluation plan.
We encourage anyone interested in learning more about applying for a USDA BFRDP grant to start early! Please consider hopping on this webinar to learn more about putting together an evaluation plan you can use for your BFRDP proposal from our partner, Jan Perez, a social science researcher and evaluator at UC Santa Cruz.
