Rhody Ag Day
Governor Gina Raimondo and First Gentleman Andy Moffit, DEM & partners to host a special celebration during the 16th Annual Ag Day at the State House.
On Ag Day, local farmers, food businesses, and community groups provide free food samples and information about their work to the public. Displays are set up around the State House Rotunda from 11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Take part in this tradition and meet your local farmer while experiencing the delicious foods and flavors Rhode Island has to offer.
As part of the festivities this year, Rhode Island's first statewide Food Strategy will be unveiled -an actionable vision for local food that celebrates our unique strengths and cuisine, and ensures all Rhode Islanders benefit from fresh, locally grown food. The 2017 Local Agriculture Seafood Act grant awards will also be announced.
