On the evening of Friday, May 6th and Saturday, May 7th the New England Grassroots Environment Fund, along with many partners and grantee groups, will be hosting two distinct but related events highlighting and supporting grassroots environmental and equity action in Providence, RI.
On Saturday from 9AM - 4:30PM, at the Rhode Island Convention Center, we invite you and your fellow community leaders and organizers to the Grassroots Fund's:
2016 Spring RootSkills Retreat
Join the New England Grassroots Environment Fund for a day of energizing, learning, and connecting. Keynote speaker, Leah Penniman of Soul Fire Farm, will join us for a passionate and reflective conversation about the work of Soul Fire Farm and the Black farming community to advance food sovereignty.

- CONNECT with fellow RootSkills participants and the land at Galego Community Farm, coordinated by the Southside Community Land Trust.
On Friday evening from 7PM - 8:30PM (networking/registration begins at 6:15PM and folks are welcome to stay until 9:30PM for informal discussion) the Grassroots Fund invites you to:
